She attended Hogwarts and was sorted into Slytherin along with others such as Montague, Miles and Higgs and cruised through her school years by flirting with the right students and getting others to do her work. At the end of her seventh year, there was a massive fight in her family as Scarlet steadfastly refused to return to Hogwarts for another year to resit her NEWTs. Her father threatened to withhold her trust fund, but it was Donatello Montague that eventually convinced her to return. After school, Lettie largely went off and did her own thing, and only worked when she was bored and felt like returning to England for a while. When she wasn't getting her money from lust-addled wizards, she worked in one of the family businesses as a jewellery designer and had quite a lot of success until the run-up to her 21st birthday. Her mother found out she was four months pregnant with a little boy (a son and heir no less!) and Scarlett's fabulous nose was put firmly out of joint. The last thing she wanted or needed was a little brother that would steal all of her parents' attention, not to mention her inheritance. Lettie had been quite happily awaiting the deaths of her mother and father so that she could collect the entire family fortune, but Michael put a stop to that. Flouncing off to Europe once again, Lettie rarely talked to her family after that, and has never even met her brother.
